Call for Sister Conference Track Papers

The Sister Conference Track is intended as a forum for presentations of significant Semantic Web-related research results that have been recently presented at very well established conferences other than the International Semantic Web Conference. The goal is to give visibility of these results to the ISWC audience as well as to promote discussions concerning such results.

Eligible papers should:

  • have been presented during the two years before the conference in topmost non-semantic web conferences (an indicative list is provided below),
  • fit within the ISWC topics (as described in the research track CFP).

Targeted conferences include

  • IJCAI
  • AAAI
  • FOIS
  • KRR
  • ECAI
  • SIGMOD/PODS
  • CIKM
  • ICML
  • KDD
  • EMNLP
  • NeurIPS
  • The Web Conf (WWW)

The authors of such papers will have the opportunity to present their work within the conference programme, but no double publication of the communication is planned. Metadata for all accepted submissions will be included in the conference metadata corpus. Detailed information about metadata creation will be provided with the acceptance notification of the successful submissions.

Submissions to the sister conference track need to be made via Easychair. Specifically, the following materials need to be submitted: title, authors, abstract, conference in which the paper is published, link to the conference web site, and copy of the conference paper.

Submissions will be selected on compliance, relevance and significance, by a subset of the programme committee.
